A good deed's worth

Your alone, standing at the face of the pathway, you don't know who you are.. or even how you got here but your going with it anyway.

You follow the path, green beneath your feet, well trimmed like a park or a neighbors lawn.

At the end of the path are two mirror's, one reflects the good in you and the other only reflects the bad, the greed, the hunger.


You had a choice of either mirror the bad would lead you to happiness and fulfillment, where as the good mirror -who was honest- could promise you only truth,
the bad mirror whispered all the things you could have, but the man chose the good mirror.


He lived a long, hard life but he did not regret his choice because instead of making other's suffer for his happiness, only he had suffered and this in itself was seen as a good deed.

which was repaid in full when he reached heaven.
